Replacement units for old air handling units

Renovation units designed to replace old ventilation units. Easy and quick to install as they fit directly in the place and duct connections of the old units such as ILTO or BACHO Minimaster.

Old units have typically a lower heat efficiency rate around 50% and energy consumining AC fans. Replacement units have energy-efficient EC fans and can recover over 80% or thermal energy. Therefore a new replacement unit can save up to thousands of kWh's of heating energy per year.

A modern ventilation unit can achieve even greater savings with built-in demand control. Intelligent sensors measure indoor air quality (RH,CO2,VOC, C) and automatically adjust ventilation to the optimal level when needed.

Renovation units to replace passive or extract ventilation with heat recovery ventilation

freeAir is a wall mounted heat recovery ventilation unit that doesn't require any incoming air ducts. Only one external wall opening per living unit required which makes it ideal for renovation.This minimises the number of ventilation ducts and hence the amount of planning and construction work. The unit is Ecodesign energyclass A+ and Passive House certified.

Upgrade kit for old GOLD air handling units

Swegon offers a spare part solution that updates older GOLD units to today's controls and functionality. Also, the complete fan inserts can be changed to modern fans with EC motors. This extends the service life of the unit, while minimising the environmental impact.

The update is offered as a refurb kit and is managed on-site. The installation is quick and only marginally disrupts day-to-day operations, avoiding major interventions in the building.

CASA Free Flow cooker hoods are a suitable for old constant air flow extract ventilation systems. Thanks to it's shape and design they have a high odour catching capacity that enables efficient fume removal with lower airflows resulting to lower energy consumption, with less pressure difference and lower noise.

Replacement roof fan

CASA F is a replacement unit for old roof fans. It is suitable for detached and terrace housesand can be uses for ventilation in the kitchen or bathroom. In older properties even the entire extract air ventilation can be achieved with the CASA F roof ventilator. In high-rise buildings, the CASA F roof ventilators are well suited for ventilating for example lift shafts and storage areas.
