Residential air handling units

CASA air handling units offer a wide range of installation possibilites from technical room, kitchen and bathroom to attic and suspended ceiling mounting options. Units are equipped with a highly energy-efficient rotary or counterflow heat exchanger and reach Ecodesign Energy class A/A+ with selected models Passive House certified. CASA units come with integrated demand control (RH standard, CO2 and VOC available) and a smart-phone application for controlling ventilation and monitoring indoor air quality.

freeAir is a wall mounted heat recovery ventilation unit that doesn't require any incoming air ducts. This minimises the number of ventilation ducts and hence the amount of planning and construction work. The unit is Ecodesign energyclass A+ and Passive House certified.

Cooling and heating duct coils

Duct mounted air heater/cooler can be installed in the air ducts to utilise the houses waterborne heating/cooling system to heat or cool the inflowing air. During cold period the heater ensures that the ventilation unit operates energy-efficiently even in extreme cold. During warm period it provides economical cooling to the building. CASA control optimises the use of  air heater/cooler automatically all year round.

Cooker hoods and pressure balance

Cooker hoods have an essential role in the air quality inside partments, as they remove odours, fumes, heat, humidity and airborne grease that are created in kitchen during cooking. 

CASA Genius cooker hoods are connected to a CASA air handling unit. Their high odour catching capacity enables efficient fume removal with lower airflows resulting to lower energy consumption, with less pressure difference and lower noise.

When connected to a ventilation unit cooker hood uses the fan in the ventilation unit. Therefore there is no need for a separate fan or exhaust ducting for the kitchen hood. This also creates less sound in the kitchen compared to hoods that have fan inside of them. The ventilation mode can be controlled from the cooker hood (home/away/boost) and the ventilation unit automatically compensates for the extracted cooking air preventing negative pressure from occurring in the home.

CASA cooker hoods can be equipped with the Safera Safety stove guard system. The stove guard helps to protect against the usual kitchen accidents by preventing the cooker from being left unsupervised while in use and cutting the power if you forget to turn off the cooker.
